One of the biggest mistakes I see in the training world with clients… is training, getting hurt, and then spending a ton of time trying to rehabilitate themselves to get back to the grind. When in reality, we should be practicing prehabilitation because that’s how we prevent injuries.
Prevent injuries > treat injuries.
Now… don’t get me wrong, if you have injuries… then by all means, TREAT THEM! We need to get you back into the gym. But my point with this video blog is to enlighten people on the idea of setting up a smart training program, so that it prevents those injuries from ever happening.
Part of this is having a more individualized approach, because we’re all different people. We have different bodies, height, weight, limb length, mechanics, past injuries, imbalances… the list goes on, we’re individual human beings. So don’t you think it’s smart to set up a program based on YOUR body, rather than the top level CrossFitter or Bodybuilder you look up too?
